Perfect for layering...this trendy, crochet hood pattern was designed with comfort and warmth in mind!

Also, this well written pattern is complete with illustrations to help you to successfully complete your project.

sneak peek.

I am normally quite camera shy, but with my children growing up and moving away models are getting harder and harder to come by...so here it is...my modeling debut and a sneak peek.

The crochet pattern for this warm and snuggly hood should be up sometime next week.

quatrefoil throw - new crochet pattern by tara schreyer.

Skill Level: Easy

The quatrefoil is a geometric design that I am in love with. In this design, I’ve incorporated it with another one of my loves, that of filet crochet. Puts a modern spin on an old classic!

I chose to create this throw in a cotton blend, which gave it beautiful drape and some weight although done in a finer fiber. You can easily switch up its look and create a larger blanket by working it up in a heavier yarn. I can’t wait to see some of your projects!!

The pattern calls for 30 balls (3300 yards) of Knit Picks Shine Sport which is a fingering (2) weight but any comparable yarn can be substituted.

The throw measures 56” (142 cm) wide x 76” (193 cm) length.

The pattern consists of a chart of the quatrefoil design along with a few written instructions to get you started and written instructions for the border.

sneak peek.

This blanket has been in the works for quite some time, but as we finish up these winter months, and head into beautiful spring this seemed like the perfect time of year to release it!!!  It is made with a blended cotton, so lighter than your average throw, but still warm and cozy.

This afghan is made using the popular filet crochet technique but done with a modern twist. I'm hard at work and hoping to release the pattern very soon.
